Webmaestro, here are two pictures of my
American Clipper which we have owned about 1 year. We are new to RVing
and this is our test vehicle. We have just got back from a 3 day trip and
met someone who had just sold an American Clipper and told us about the
American Clipper Owners Club so that's the reason for my visit. We have had some trouble, mostly with cooling and have replaced 4 fan belts
since we got it! But otherwise we are satisfied and will continue the
adventure. Mike Read, Seattle.
Mike, thank you for your great
pictures. It looks like a beauty. You might find that you will keep
this "test" vehicle for a long time as the real thing. You
need to solve your overheating problem. Replacing the fan belts 4
times in one year does not sound right. Become a member of the ACOC
and ask advice on the ACOC Technical Forum or even on the Greetings
Forum page (before you are a member). There are very knowledgeable
ACOC members who are more than happy to help you solve your
problem. Enjoy your Clipper! - Webmaster American Clipper Website. |

My Clipper on the coast of WA: Took my grandkids, Mom and sister up the coast of Washington, It was a very foggy day!
The day I got my Clipper, he got his name "Billy Bob"! Billy Bob and I have done a lot of traveling together, up and down the pacific coast. Much of our traveling has been done with my two Bouvier's, Belle and her daughter Boogie, along with their cat Beazer. It's a full house on the road, but always an adventure. I usually see at least one other
Clipper on the road, or talk to someone that has one. Clipper owner's have been the friendliest people I've met on the road! Any of you see me and two X-large black hairy dogs on the road, Honk or say howdy!

Thank you for this great picture and
your little story about your family and dogs (which are part of the family
of course). Yes, Clipper owners are a great bunch! Send us more pictures
anytime and we will post them right here! - Webmaster.
Hi, I just bought my Clipper two weeks ago. It's a 79. The man I bought if from took very good care of it and it's in great shape.
I have taken it out a few times to get the feel of how it runs, which is good. Everywhere I've taken it people have commented on it and even offered to buy it. I had no idea it was so popular. I don't know much about RV's and had to get help to get things running in it, but everything is working well.
Thank you, Donna.
Donna, thank you for these great pictures.
Become a member of the ACOC, you will have plenty of people available to
ask technical questions and/or to meet them on rallies (if you live in
the western US) for their company and that of their Clippers -

| This is a picture of our 1977 rear kitchen model doing what it does best. Purchased a few months ago we have begun using it and are pretty happy with it. Up till this time My wife and I were just tent campers, so we're thrilled with the comforts of our Clipper. This photo was taken at Spencer Spit State park on Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands. A great park with good private camp sites,
but be prepared for the high ferry fees. $105 round trip to Lopez Island! Next time we stay longer. We carry the Honda in the picture on a rack attached to a beefed up trailer hitch. Our next trip is in a couple a weeks over on the Olympic
Peninsula. Clipper on.....! John and Karen |

Thank you John and Karen. It looks as
if you are using the Clipper for what it was intended: Getting away from
the stresses of life and to have fun and relaxation in a beautiful spot. I
agree, Clipper on ......! - Webmaster.
